03/04/12 10:30 Mass Recording of Music

This recording reflects reverting the soundboard back to the original settings as arranged by Noelle and Josh.

Note: The sound was not on at the beginning. I don't know if Nina's volume was adjusted but she was clearer at the end than in the beginning.  But based on her announcing the Gathering hymn, I'm guessing she might have just gotten closer to the mic or projected more because the volume was bad for the announcement of the next song.  I think Flavio said he brought me down during this song at the end.  I can hear where that happened. I also don't think I "showed up" again for much of the rest of the Mass vocally. Guess Flavio is trying to tell me something...

Note: I included Nina announcing the hymn so you can hear why the congregation couldn't hear her. Instruments in general are not loud enough. I thought Patrick's harmony was a nice balance -- not overpowering but very easy to discern.

Note: I think the voices are balanced pretty well but I think the instruments need to be louder. Nice job Nina!  Good harmony guys. Not too loud -- very well blended. Nice guitar accents Patrick.

Note: Patrick's volume was bumped up for this song. Would have been good to hear it at the original setting.

Note: I included Nina's announcing of the song so you can hear the difference. I think other than Nina, the rest of us were not confident on the verses so I don't think this is a "sound system" issue.

NO recessional during Lent. Depart in Silence.

I think we probably still need some tweaking but it was good to go back to the base settings. I think we drifted a bit too far off course.
